Feminine, lacy, and elegant, with a touch of country thrown in, these simple bootcuffs are easy to crochet, but oh so cute! They work up quickly, which make them a great last minute gift idea, and they don’t use a whole lot of yarn. You can make these bootcuffs in any size you’d like so long as your beginning chain is in multiples of 6. This crochet pattern can also be worked up in finer yarns, with a higher stitch count, and more repeats of round 5. Complete the set with either the Ribbons and Grace Neckwarmer, or the Ribbons and Grace Headband.

Make two of these,

Round 16: sl st into ch-2 sp, (ch 1, 3 sc, sl st), sl st into next ch-2 sp *(ch 1, 3 sc, sl st), sl st into next ch-2 sp; repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sl st. (21 shells)
Fasten off, and weave in ends
Cut a length of 7/8″ sheer ribbon, long enough to wrap comfortably around your calf, allowing enough extra to tie a bow. Weave through dc sts from round 13. The ribbon should fold in half to fit through the spaces.
Tie a bow, and cut off your ends at an angle. Finish the ends of the bow with clear nail polish or fray-check. Fluff out the bows to where they look good.
Optional Finishing:
With sewing needle and thread, sew the flower accessory over top of the bow. You will want to put a few stitches into the center of the bow itself to keep it from untying.
If you don’t want a ribbon or flower, you can simply crochet a chain long enough to wrap around your leg, and tie in a bow. Thread it through the dc sts of round 13, and tie. Beads or tiny pom-poms on the ends might also be a nice touch. It’s up to you!
