Additional pictures of the stitches:
When starting the second round of shells, you’ll slip stitch up to the top of the shell from the previous round,
then work 5 dc in the dip between the shells from the previous round, and join with a sl st to the top of the next shell.
Once you get a few of them done you should start to notice a nested pattern.
After you complete your shell rounds, the next round will help to even out the shells.
Sc stitches will be along the top of the shell, while the hdc stitches will be along the lower sides and in the sl st between shells.
After the round to even out the shells, comes a round of hdc
Followed by a round of sc, worked in the 3rd loop of the hdc stitch (see Part 1 if you don’t remember how to work in the 3rd loop)
After that you’ll work at least 2 additional rounds of sc depending on the size you’re making. This will bring you to the end of part 2!
