Welcome to another installment of Fashion Feature Friday, where I show you how to style crochet accessories for everyday wear so you stay on trend! This week I’m highlighting the Art ‘n Soul Scrappy Scarf by special request! If you have a crochet fashion accessory of mine you’d like me to feature outfits for in a future post, please let me know by leaving a comment here or in my Facebook group!
Since this scarf is such an unusual piece, and each of you will have a different result, I’m not going to link to similar clothing pieces, as your colors may be very different from mine, however, I’m sure with a little searching, and possibly a few thrift store visits, you’ll find several outfits you can wear with this fun scarf. Let’s get started!

Spring is here with all its brilliance, and while the Art ‘n Soul Scrappy Scarf was meant to be a late summer/early fall piece there’s nothing that says you can’t add it to your spring wardrobe (especially if you picked cheery colors!). Stick with neutrals for the skirt and sweater (or jacket, if you prefer) so as not to conflict with the colors of the scarf, then add fun pops of color that compliment your scarf for your shoes, or blouse. I chose a polka-dot skirt to up the “fun” factor, but you could use texture here instead. Paint your nails to match, or keep them neutral–it’s up to you!
Scarves in summer? Why not! Try wearing it as a belt or sash instead of around your neck. A light-colored neutral top with an ombré skirt that includes the colors of your scarf will help the outfit come together.
Skirts not your thing? Pair it with blue jeans, a tank top, and some bright sandals for a classic look. Fun fact: Did you know my scarf has emerald green accents in it? The bold color of the sandals will hopefully have you looking for it!
Fall and winter are the perfect time to wear this scarf, and you can mix/match, and adjust any of the ideas shown to fit a cold weather look. Note: If I had had some golden yellow jeans I would have used those in the following picture instead, but since I don’t (yet), you get this beautiful golden skirt instead.
If your scarf has fall colors in it, now is the time to wear them! Celebrate those golds, reds, purples, and rusts! Darker neutrals and a jean jacket on top create the perfect backdrop to let this scarf shine (and keep you cozy). Pair with the boots of your choice.
I hope that you enjoyed this feature! If you have, and want to see more, please leave a comment, or share your own crochet accessory-inspired outfit ideas in my Facebook group! Happy styling!
