This simple, but beautiful crochet “granny” square pattern takes the Primrose & Proper stitch pattern you know so well and re-imagines it in a completely new way. A delicate ruffle frames the center of the square giving it plenty of romantic, feminine charm that would fit in in any little girls (or women’s) bedroom. I’ve also included a very basic Primrose & Proper afghan square at the bottom of this post (not pictured) so you can crochet an afghan with a couple of coordinating granny squares, should you wish.
